For a short stay, the small room had what we needed, and the staff were very friendly. Checking in yourself was easy when we arrived late at night. There’s a nice cafe next door for breakfast and coffee, plus other restaurants nearby. The WiFi could be better, though it did push us to enjoy being in the moment. The room was quite muggy and hot, even though I usually don’t mind that, and the thin walls meant we could hear people. We also had a handful of mosquitoes in the room. Breakfast appeared as an included amenity when booking, but I couldn’t find out where it was served, so I’m not sure whether there is breakfast.

My bag was stolen less than 15 minutes after I went outside. The woman had taken our passports, photocopied them, and watched me put mine in my bag, in a difficult-to-reach spot. If you hadn’t seen me put it there, you wouldn’t have known it was there. It felt like the perfect setup. I told her what happened, and she said nothing. I’m not letting this ruin my trip, even though I have to get an emergency passport from the embassy. They didn’t get much, but I don’t recommend this place at all. I’d think your mothers would have taught you better, but apparently not.

Communication with the hotel was good. We never managed to check in officially, so we just sent our details to reception, which worked fine for us since we stayed only two nights and left early the next day. The shower was in our room, though we’d suggest a different shower head. The upstairs toilet was very clean.

The WiFi was very poor, and the AC didn’t work well. The shower head was broken when I got to the room, so taking a shower was difficult, with a very slow flow of cold water. We asked them to fix it, but they only came to check and didn’t repair it. I had a very bad experience at this hotel. There are much better hotels around there, so I wouldn’t book a room here.
