Hotel Lisbona

The staff made our three nights at the Lisbona especially enjoyable. They were wonderful with us and gave us useful advice on getting around, sightseeing, and places to eat. We also had a spacious room, a large, well equipped bathroom, and a lovely canal view. P. San Marco is only about two minutes away, while the hotel sits far enough off the main street to feel peaceful. We must have had one of the best rooms, since we didn’t encounter the problems other reviewers mentioned. We’d stay again.

From my balcony I could watch the canal and gondolas, and the room was extremely clean and decorated in Venetian style. Cristiano, the hotel manager, is a great person who always tries his best to help. I had a really great stay in November 2019, and I’m ready to go back. I highly recommend it if you want to experience the atmosphere of Venice.

The breakfast had a nice selection and was really good, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. It’s easy to walk to the hotel from the ferry station, with everything very close by. The hotel itself was cute and kept very clean. I absolutely loved it.

We were happy with what we paid, and our canal view, complete with gondolas, felt quintessentially Venetian. The room was cramped, probably the smallest they had, though it didn’t cause us a problem and still had all the amenities. For a honeymoon stay of three nights, the location near Piazza San Marco, the full complimentary breakfast, and the coffee machine that could make whatever drink you wanted all mattered. The front desk staff were great too, with advice on restaurants, transportation, and what to avoid.
