Le Burchielle

Casa Burchielle was a lovely stay. We were pleasantly surprised to get a room with two windows overlooking the canals. It was clean, the bathroom was modern and well equipped, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff, whose reception is currently shared with the nearby Olympia Hotel, were really friendly, always smiling, and made an effort to speak our mother tongue. The location worked perfectly for us, just minutes from the bus station, parking, and train station. I’d recommend it if you’re on a bit of a budget and don’t mind walking some distance to the main sights.

The B&B is in a decent location, but finding the exact room can take a few minutes, especially after a glass or two of wine. At first we were confused because we didn’t realize we had to check in at the Hotel Olimpia reception. Once we figured that out, everything was fine. The reception staff were super friendly.

The Google Maps pin is in the wrong spot. The hotel is farther down the street, next to Hotel Olympia. Good value for the money, with clean, cozy old-fashioned rooms.

Our room was neat and tidy, and the location suited us perfectly, right by the bus station. The concierge at the hotel next door, hotel olimpia, were delightful and very helpful with both check-in and check-out. We were on the second floor and the lift was broken at the time, but that wasn’t a big problem. I’d recommend staying here.
