Nina Sweet Home in Venice

The courtyard room was a lovely touch, and the check-in went well. They also left a small breakfast gift, which was nice. The rooms are about a 10-minute walk from the main areas, in a beautiful, quieter neighborhood. It was a welcome break from the busy center. I'd recommend staying here to avoid hotel costs.

After checkout, we could leave our bags in dedicated luggage storage and explore the city on our last day, which was a nice extra. The B&B is in a quiet alley, just a few minutes on foot from the train and bus stations. That means more walking to the touristy parts of Venice, but it saves you from hauling luggage over a lot of bridges. Rinata met us at the door right away, checked us in, and showed us our room within minutes. There was plenty of room for our luggage. The external bathroom was down the hallway and reserved for our room. The main drawback was how little sound insulation there was from the hallway. It could get loud, partly because of the external bathrooms, though we still got decent rest.

The owners were so sweet and clearly cared about making the stay comfortable. We had a great time, and the location was close to everything. If we're back in Venice, we'll probably stay here again.

The reception team was great, with plenty of suggestions for places to go and eat. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the place is close to public transport, with everything else within walking distance. A perfect place to stay in Venice. I'd happily come back.
