San Teodoro Palace Luxury Apartments

The rooms were lovely, and the place is central enough to make getting around easy. When the Nespresso machine in our room broke, they brought us another one within minutes. I'd definitely stay here again.

The mattresses were thin and springy, and the curtains looked a bit dingy. The place was clean enough, though not spotless. We liked the spacious apartment, good bathrooms, and beautiful glass chandeliers. It had a washer, Nespresso machine, and a full kitchen with dishes and utensils. The building has a lift, and with the windows shut it was completely quiet inside. Remote check-in worked well. The location is unbeatable, within walking distance of San Marco and right by Rialto.

The manager was helpful and reachable by phone whenever we needed him. We booked at the last minute, and he accommodated us quickly. The service was very good, and the apartment was spotless with all the essentials. It really felt luxurious, and the location was prime, with food, shopping, walking routes, and the station all nearby.

The apartments are in a handy spot in San Marco, near the Rialto Bridge and the high-end shops. I liked the rustic ceiling beams, and the bathrooms look recently redone, though they don't feel as luxurious as advertised. The steel apartment doors are extremely secure, with six half-inch locking rods. Getting there was a mess. The directions sent me around in circles, and the entrance is off a very dark, narrow passage. The building door was unlocked, though it really should have been locked: there was a homeless person sleeping in the closet just inside. The stair lights run on a timer, so the stairs can go completely dark. Inside, the furnishings feel far from luxurious, the beds are very hard, and the walls are filthy, dented, and scuffed. The instructions mention air conditioning through the floors but say nothing about heat. If you're considering San Teodore apartments, I'd keep looking.
