Hotel Paganelli

The big balcony was a favorite, especially for sitting outside under the stars at night. Our room was nice, and the location put us right near everything we’d planned to do. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, and staff greeted us by name whenever we passed through the lobby, even when it was busy. Before we got there, they also helped arrange smooth private taxi rides from the train station and to the airport. We’ve just finished our stay and wish we could rate it higher than five. Thanks to everyone we met, you should be proud of what you do.

We stayed in Venice in January 2026 with our two sick children, aged 2 years and 5 months. We moved some furniture to make space for our luggage, but we didn’t leave the room as messy as the reception staff member claimed when we were checking out. We were very disappointed to be confronted about it. Cleaning the room is part of the hotel’s responsibility, and the staff member, whose name I didn’t get, was rude to say that to us. Staff need better training in how to treat and handle customers. Very, very poor service.

We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Paganelli. The room was clean and stylish, though on the small side, and the front desk staff were pleasant in our limited interactions. The lobby air conditioning was great, while the AC in our room could have been stronger. It was cooler than the intense heat outside, but we got warm at night and when coming back in. The location is 10/10, just steps from the water bus stop from the airport and close to the city’s main sights. Breakfast wasn’t included.

A nice place, and the employee who showed us to our room was helpful. I did notice ants on the floor and near some black, rust-like stuff coming off in the shower corner, so keep an eye out for them.
