Cristiano was a fantastic host, sending useful Venice information and all the necessary documents, including details about the tourist tax and entrance fee exception. He was helpful and accommodating, and his tips for authentic local restaurants were ones we absolutely loved. The apartment itself blends traditional style with modern design and great Italian taste. We’d book again, 10/10 recommended.

We stayed in San Croce, in a charming historic 17th century building that’s been updated with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Absolutely amazing.

There’s plenty of room, a good location, and everything you need in the apartment. But getting luggage up to the 4th floor on a spiral staircase with no elevator was no fun. The bathroom water could act funny sometimes, and the mosquito swarm inside was the biggest downside. Bring anti mosquito weaponry, they show no mercy, so neither should you.

The interiors were beautiful, and so were the residents. A wonderful visit all around.
