Residenza La Duchessa Deluxe Rooms

The hosts, Sara and Riccardo, were attentive and always ready to answer questions. We can't wait to come back. This is a superb little guest house with comfortable apartments, beautifully fitted rooms, and the basic things you need. It's well placed for exploring Venice's main sights on foot or from nearby vaporetto stops. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby, from breakfast through the day. The area is far enough from the busiest parts to feel more relaxed, with less tourist pressure.

It's in a handy spot, away from the centre's hustle and bustle but close enough to walk wherever you want. Sara and Riccardo meet you at the door and are delightful and helpful. The little alley is narrow, but don't let it put you off. Rooms are a good size, clean, and stocked with snacks when you arrive. We left our luggage at reception and went out to explore; everything was ready in our room when we returned. My only reservation is that the two ground-floor rooms open straight onto reception, though it wasn't a big deal. A nice little hotel.

We spent two lovely nights here. The rooms were comfortable, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The quiet little street gave us a sense of privacy and calm, while everything we wanted to see was a short walk away. The restaurant suggestions were great too. I'd highly recommend staying here instead of in the thick of the tourist crowds.

The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The hotel has great amenities, including a bottle of prosecco, and the staff were lovely and easy to reach on WhatsApp or by phone. It's a peaceful spot within walking distance of the centre, with waterbus stops just minutes away. Via Garibaldi has lots of nice restaurants, bars, and cafés right there. I'd definitely stay again!
