Savoia & Jolanda Apartments 2

The apartment was very well equipped and the service was excellent for the price. We were welcomed so warmly at the entrance. Thanks for everything, we’ll be back.

The neighborhood is pleasant, with shops and restaurants nearby. What made no sense to me was having to go to the hotel to collect the keys. The apartment is 700 meters from the station, on foot, but the hotel is practically across the city, and we had to spend €50 on a bus ticket just to pick them up. They could simply put the usual coded key box by the entrance. With that arrangement, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! There were mosquitoes everywhere, only two air conditioners, and not enough water for showers. We were six, and four of us left with red marks on our skin. We don’t know whether anything was there, but we don’t think the marks were mosquito bites, so I can’t say if there were animals in the mattresses.

We visited at Christmas, and the apartment worked well for a family trip. It was clean, with the train station, boat stop, and water taxi all nearby. San Marco is a 15-20 minute walk away. The living room felt a bit cold because there wasn’t enough heating, though the place seems like it would be ideal in summer. The shower was the other drawback: the water pressure was weak, and the hot water took a little while to come through.

The terrace was really dirty.
