We stayed for three weeks in October and November 2022, arriving the day before the Venice Marathon. The apartment was about two minutes from the finish line. Susanna's communication was excellent, and David met us there. He was really friendly and helpful while we settled in. Via Garibaldi made everyday errands easy, with shops, fishmongers, butchers and cafes nearby. The apartment matched what we saw on the website, and we even used the washing line. Getting there from Marco Polo airport was easy: the Alliguna drops you at Arsenale, then it's about a 10 minute walk over two bridges, with ramps that made luggage manageable. We counted 24 steps up to the apartment, but once inside the building we had no problems. Putting out the daily rubbish was convenient too, with collection at the end of Calle. We'd highly recommend it. It's away from the hustle and bustle and has lovely parks nearby.
