Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was excellent. It might not be the kind of food you expect from a tourist spot, but it’s well worth trying and worth the price. I’d definitely recommend it.

We stumbled across this restaurant while searching for somewhere to have breakfast and get a little work done. What a lovely find. The staff welcomed us warmly and stayed friendly and attentive the whole time. The breakfast was really enjoyable, and they even surprised us with a special sweet breakfast cake. There are also guest rooms upstairs. This is now a favorite Venice spot for a morning, a bit of laptop work, and a chance to meet genuinely kind people. Totally GoodNews!

Our waiter was lovely and attentive, and the service quality matched the high end prices. We had dinner at taverna san lio. The fish and risottor were really good, and everything else was excellent too. The tiramisu was just ok.

The bass baked in a salt crust was our favorite, and I’m already hungry just writing about it. We had a wonderful dinner. I only wish we’d found this place before our last night in Venice, because we would have tried everything on the menu if we’d had more time.

We tried the goose confit and the tagliolini stuffed with seafood, and both were excellent. The food overall was excellent, the service was good, and there was an extensive wine list. Lots of English is spoken here.
