Tivoli Hotel

The room was cozy and just right for the price. Breakfast was great, the staff were amazing, and the internet was faster than what I get at home. The location was great too.

After a terrible first night at Ca Matir, where we had booked two nights, we went looking for somewhere else and found Hotel Tivoli. They were helpful, welcoming, and extremely efficient, so we moved our things over and were relieved to be in a proper hotel with good facilities, excellent staff, and a great breakfast. Thanks. If you’re going to Venice, please avoid Ca Matir. Book Hotel Tivoli, they were amazing 😍

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was good. Staff were friendly and dealt with the one concern we raised. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was good. The AC had been shut off for our first night and only works when the owners decide it’s warm enough. As Canadians, we have a different idea of what counts as hot. We spoke to the front desk and they switched it on for night two. The shower was really tiny, with your elbows hitting the walls; anyone larger might have trouble fitting. We both ended up with tiny red dots all over. They didn’t look like bedbug bites and didn’t hurt or itch, but it was strange 🤔

The hotel itself was nice, with a perfect location and extremely friendly staff. Breakfast was good for a two-star place, and they let me leave my luggage at reception after checkout. I’d definitely recommend it. I had a single room. Small, but clean and cosy, with everything I needed. In November it felt a bit cold even with the heat turned all the way up. And after a shower, the whole bathroom was wet.
