Zen Residence Venice

We booked four nights through lastminute.com for a 21st birthday, but nobody showed up. We waited outside for five hours, couldn’t get an answer at the number we were given, and later that line went dead. The holiday company kept passing us from one number to another, and the last one didn’t answer either. After freezing outside, we booked somewhere else. We’ll be seeking a refund and compensation. Avoid this place at all costs.

This was awful. We booked expecting an apartment, but it turned out to be one room in an apartment, with a shared toilet and shower for three rooms, like a hostel. The room itself was very dirty, and there were cockroaches on the shelves.

We booked a room, but it felt like a scam. The owner never confirmed anything, and nobody answered when we called. Better to avoid.

My friend and I arrived, and the “residence” didn’t exist! It was awful. I hope they give our money back. The neighbors told us about a cheaper hostel, so we were able to stay there.
