Alloggio Le Casette

He knows just where to eat and what to see, and was such a kind, respectful host. We had a really lovely stay. Thank you!💕🙏

We were in Verona for one night for an event at the Arena, just five minutes away, and the location was excellent. The owner was really friendly and suggested the funicular, which took us up to a splendid view of Verona, along with other local attractions and activities. Our room was very basic but had the essentials. Breakfast was included, and the pastries were excellent.

The bed was so noisy that every movement made a racket, and the mattress and pillows left us with back pain and stiff necks. The room was really dirty, with dust everywhere, even inside the towel warmer, so we couldn't put towels there without them getting dirty. There were cobwebs and insects by the window, and the smell was horrible even after we opened it to air the room out. The host didn't leave shampoo, shower gel, or drinking water. There wasn't a supermarket nearby, just a tobacconist with ridiculous prices.

I've stayed here four times now, and the owners have always been incredibly sweet and helpful. The location is great, with Piazza Erbe and Piazza Bra just three minutes away. Everything else is close too, and public transport stops are right outside. Everything was top-notch.
