The location was good, but we paid a huge amount for five nights compared with other places. The room was very noisy, despite being advertised as soundproof. The duvet had no cover and was filthy, and the bed covers were dirty too. The pillows were stained and badly discolored. For what we paid, it was disgusting and horrible. We asked the owner Max for clean, fresh bed and duvet covers, but nothing was changed and they stayed dirty. There was no breakfast either. I highly recommend staying away.

Great host, very welcoming and accommodating. The man came late at night to get us a room at the last minute, even though Milan was playing. Good location and a cozy room.

Max gave us an amazing welcome, which made a great start to our trip through Italy. This is a very romantic place, with a spacious, modern, well-equipped room and a great spot for visiting the city’s attractions. Max explained Verona so well, shared good advice and even moved his car to make room for ours in front of the hotel. Breakfast was good, and he made sure we had a nice stay.

We spent four nights here in June, and it was a gem. The room was super clean and looked after daily. Max was a perfect host. The place worked really well for exploring this UNESCO city and for our Opera night, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We also took an early bus and train to Porte Neuvo for a day trip to Venice, returning in the evening. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

Max and Teresa were fantastic hosts, helpful and generous, even giving us a lift to the station when we left. We’d gladly stay again. Breakfast was great and the Wi-Fi worked very well. It’s a fabulous find: a large, beautifully furnished, very clean room. The location is excellent too, just a few minutes’ walk from the Arena or the river, on a quiet street.
