Breakfast was wonderful, and there was also a self-serve fridge with water and Morretti beer. Francois is such a lovely person. Her B&B is in a quiet neighborhood near lots of cafes and restaurants, with an easy walk to the Arena downtown area. There are bus stops close by for getting from the train station. Just got back from staying here, and it was the best. I’d stay again.

The location made getting around easy. It’s not far from the train station by bus or taxi, and a quick walk along the river takes you straight to the heart of town. This is also a real neighborhood, where people gather in the evenings around the plaza or near San Zeno Basilica, which stands over the garden. We’ve stayed here twice now, and somehow the second visit felt even better. Francois is an amazing host, modest but warm, and made us feel as if she was sharing her home with us. It was a pleasure to stay here. The old historic stable has been restored simply and beautifully, with lots of character. Our room and bathroom were very clean, spacious, and well furnished, and the excellent A/C was much needed in July. In good weather, breakfast is served in the garden. It was simple but delicious, with high-quality ingredients: crisp croissants, fresh baguette, yogurt and granola, fruit, cheese, mortadella, and eggs made to order. We can’t wait to visit Verona again. This is the only place we’ll stay!

We loved the cozy, comfortable room and had a wonderful stay at this beautiful b&b. Françoise is a very kind owner, and the breakfast was among the best we had in Italy. It’s an easy walk to Castelvecchio and the heart of Verona, while the neighborhood itself is quiet and safe, away from the crowds. Highly recommended!

The mornings were lovely, waking to church bells and hearing birds outside. Françoise took care of breakfast herself each day with so much kindness, which made it feel personal. There’s a lovely garden outside, though it wasn’t open at this time of year. It would be lovely in spring or summer. The suite had thoughtful touches and quality bathroom equipment. After walking around in the autumn cold, the hot water and good pressure were essential. The place was peaceful, away from the busy center but still just a few steps from it, with nice restaurants and cafes nearby. That was perfect for us, since Verona can get extremely packed on weekends, and we slept wonderfully. Françoise is a charming host who pays attention to the details. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and walked us to our room, which was already lit and at a very comfortable temperature on a cold afternoon. If we come back to Verona, we’ll stay here again!
