We were there for a week in September after booking through AirBnB, and paid too much for the room. We were nearly alone most of the time, yet were made to feel like a nuisance. After we used the pool once, it was closed for the rest of the week for “cleaning.” When we asked at breakfast to order dinner so we could relax after a full day of visits, they seemed openly annoyed. The husband’s dinner was fairly OK, but nowhere near the gastronomic highlight other visitors describe. The woman spent the day shouting at everyone, especially her husband. The one bright spot was a kind local girl who came each morning to make breakfast and clean the rooms, and seemed to do nearly all the work herself. This could be a heavenly place, but it isn’t. Don’t run a B&B in a tourist trap location if you hate (foreign) people and are lazy as sh*t.

We felt completely at home here, and the owners’ kindness and willingness to help made the stay memorable. The food was wonderful, and they let us use the kitchen and local ingredients to prepare food for our 8-month-old baby. A lovely choice if you’re looking to relax away from the city. We’d come back.

The service was impeccable, and the big pool with included sun loungers was a real bonus in Italy. We had a spacious room and enjoyed the welcome spritz. It’s a little out of the way, but the sunset views are magnificent.

Mrs. Serena was kind and always ready to help, and we felt at home from the start. We stayed for a weekend in early August with my husband, our 13-month-old son, and our dog. The grounds and pool were well looked after, and we enjoyed the beautiful views, the natural setting, and the good food. We loved it enough to book another stay. Recommended for anyone wanting to unwind among nature.

The route up has some very narrow stretches, so it may be stressful if you’re not an experienced or confident driver. Once there, the view is breathtaking. We booked 10 nights with half board. The rooms are simple but fine, and the hosts were lovely and flexible when we wanted lunch instead of dinner. The pool was excellent and very clean. We found the stay good value and would recommend it.
