Vieste was a lovely surprise, a hidden gem I'd happily visit again and again. We left after two nights with my family feeling very satisfied. It's a small hotel with breakfast included, and the two superior rooms we had both looked out over a fantastic sea view. They were modern, spacious, and clean. Getting around with a wheelchair or stroller was very easy. Reception and breakfast staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the location made it easy to walk to either town or beach.

The hotel itself is average, but that's okay. What felt odd was paying separately for a second coffee at breakfast. And charging 10 euros to keep two non-electric bikes in a wooden shed next to the hotel seems, well, greedy perhaps?

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was very nice. Breakfast was average but still enjoyable. This is an old-school style hotel in a wonderful location, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and our room had its own outside entrance. The Wi-Fi was poor in the rooms; I could barely find a signal in mine, though it may have been better in the lobby. There's no parking, but you might get lucky and find a free spot nearby, or pay a small hourly fee. The center and the beach with the Pizzomunno are both easy walks, so if you're staying in the area you won't need a car.
