City Jungle

The bathroom was flooded when we arrived, and we were told to mop it up with towels. With just one towel per person, that meant choosing between drying ourselves and cleaning the floor. We ended up spending the evening mopping, then they brought more towels, or rather threw them at us, along with those pads used for dogs to pee on as bath mats. Dust was everywhere, including all over the plastic plants in the room. I’m highly allergic and felt awful. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, the toilet seat was broken and kept falling wherever it wanted, and there was no carpet. Giving each person only one towel also meant we had no separate towel for the bidet or hands. It was a nightmare.

Giulia was so kind and helpful, and the note in the pantry about breakfast was a lovely touch, even though breakfast isn’t included. Little things like that show when someone does the work with real passion. We stayed for three nights in a very nice house with excellent furnishings and all the comforts. The location is great, close to the center. Thank you so much 😊

So clean, beautifully furnished, and comfortable, with everything you need. This apartment was fantastic. I’d go back in a heartbeat. I’ve never found a place this lovely.
