The apartments are very clean and spacious, with a big patio and garden. The hosts were helpful and the service was excellent, and the setting is exceptional, just steps from the black sand beaches and close to the town center. A few things could be better: outdoor lighting is poor, indoor lighting should be improved, the kitchen has very little equipment, and mosquito control isn't effective. There are some other small issues too. They don't erase the positive experience, but they do cost it my generous extra star. High-season prices aren't cheap, though they're in line with the area.
