Yu Kiroro Ski In Ski Out Luxury Residences

The ski valet was a highlight, especially Deo, who was exceptional about getting our gear organized each morning and evening. We also loved the slope being so close, and the good morning welcome and greeting when we got back from skiing. The matcha latte was the best, too! 🍵 We’ve stayed at other resorts in Kiroro, and after several ski trips in Japan, Yu Kiroro stands out for its mix of luxury, service, and friendly traditional hospitality. We were there over Christmas, and the hotel festivities were fun and classy. Allan and his team put on a great Christmas show, with Santa making an appearance. Breakfast had both traditional and Western choices, with new dishes that kept each morning fresh. This hidden treasure in Kiroro will see us again. The kids are already asking about next year.

Mr. JB made the ski arrangements easy to understand, with detailed, clear answers to my questions. The service throughout my ski holiday at Yu Kiroro Hotel was warm and professional, and staff showed a strong service mindset. I also appreciated the Thai staff, who were attentive and helped Thai guests feel comfortable and at home. The snow was outstanding. Food was consistently excellent and varied, and the well maintained facilities and cleanliness gave the hotel a comfortable, homey yet professional feel. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone planning a ski holiday in Hokkaido. Thank you.

The staff are what make Yu Kiroro feel special. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and they made me feel like part of the family, especially Alan-San and Shane-San. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the location is perfect. I’ll be back for my next Japan ski holiday!

We moved from the hotel next door because we wanted somewhere calm and relaxing, and Yu Kiroro was just that. The modern apartments were clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff very attentive. The gondola is only 50 metres from the hotel, and ski rental is one gondola ride away. There’s a ski valet, and the ski office can arrange private coaches. The hotel has only one restaurant, but the food is good and the dinner menu has quite a few options. I’d recommend it for families with or without kids.
