Tabist Hotel Yuan Akashi

Without a car, getting around is difficult. The hotel is a ten-minute walk from the station, and the nearest convenience store is also ten minutes away. There are hardly any restaurants nearby, and parking apparently costs 500 yen. The building is old, and it took over 30 minutes to fill the bath. The price is reasonable, I suppose, but the location is terrible.

The bathroom fan wasn’t working, and there was mold everywhere. My colleague had the same problem in their room, so it wasn’t just mine. The curtains and carpet were badly discolored, and the whole floor smelled of cigarette smoke as soon as I stepped out of the elevator. I don’t smoke, but this was a sudden business trip and the only room available allowed smoking, so I had no choice but to book it. The front desk staff were polite, and I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but I’m writing this so someone else won’t have the same experience.

I use your services in a wheelchair. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Fumio Kishida's Office.

The staff were very helpful, which makes this such a shame. I reserved a non-smoking room for an overnight stay with my baby, but it smelled of cigarettes and had cigarette burns in the bathroom. The bath was so dirty I couldn’t get in, the drain was pitch black, the carpet had obvious stains, and there was some kind of liquid on top of the refrigerator. There was no way I could stay, so I quickly found another hotel and checked out. Maybe it’s fine if you don’t mind dirt, but 8,000 yen for a room only seemed too expensive to me.
