Lit Amakusa

The BBQ was the best meal of my five-day Japan trip. It costs 10,000 yen per person and includes a Kumamoto Black Wagyu set and fresh live seafood such as lobster, tiger prawns, and abalone. We booked it at least three days ahead. You grill the raw meat and seafood yourself; rice and some sauces are supplied, but bring your own alcohol. The portions were huge, more than three adult men could finish. We’d come after a round of golf at The Masters Amakusa and only had a short stay because of our schedule, but it was a very comfortable and memorable time. The young owners were so kind. The husband is the captain and made us feel at ease, while his shy wife kept checking that we had everything we needed. I’d like to return with my family, since there are three rooms with futons and mattresses for two people each, plus a BBQ and various marine activities. You can go fishing with the captain on his boat, and dolphin tours may be available depending on the timing. Diving and other programs are offered too. I wanted to write this as soon as I got back to Korea, but am only doing it now. Thank you for such lovely memories. I hope to see you again and wish you happiness always.

We keep returning to Lit, which has become a favorite for our family. We first came because we wanted to try fishing in Japan, and the boat trips we’ve booked through them have always been relaxing and fun. Dolphin watching and diving tours are available too. The house is spotless, clearly well cared for by the owners, and spacious and comfortable. There’s free parking right outside, plus a private backyard where you can reserve a barbecue. The young Uemura couple are very friendly and helpful, and Mr. Uemura speaks fluent Chinese, so communication is easy. We also love the food side of our visits. Mr. Uemura recommends lots of good local restaurants and is incredibly helpful. Every stay at Lit leaves us with great memories. ❤️

The owners were so kind, and our family had a wonderful two days. Traveling with children, we found it just right for a family trip, and the fresh BBQ was incredibly tasty. It’s a private, open-feeling place where we could spread out and relax. I’d recommend it for couples as well as families, and we’d definitely stay again! 🎶

We had a comfortable time with the family in the all-weather BBQ area, which is completely private. The room was also very cozy and thoroughly clean, right into every corner. I’d like to stay here again.
