The reception staff were incredibly kind. I was lost while trying to catch a bus to Osaka and couldn't find the ticket online, so I asked if I could pay on board. They said yes, but it had to be cash. When I found I was 100 yen short of the 3,600 yen fare, they lent me the money without hesitation, even though I wasn't a guest. They let me wait at reception and offered me coffee, too. That kindness really stayed with me. If I return to Anan, I'd definitely stay here.

I stayed on 25 December, when it was 10 degrees outside overnight. The hotel had its central AC set to 28 degrees, and it was too hot to sleep. We couldn't adjust it from the room, and opening the windows wasn't an option because other rooms were smoking. The front desk staff couldn't change the setting either. Something is very wrong with this setup. Hotel, please lower the temperature at night. Even the Japan government recommends 20 degrees Celsius, which is comfortable and saves energy.

The rooms and service were average, but the spa was the good part. It's clean, with a medium-sized bath and a small sauna. Towels are provided there, so you don't need to bring one from your room. I think it's not a bad choice.

My husband and I stayed here twice during a fairly long trip. The people were kind and nice, and the breakfast was really tasty. I'd recommend it.

The staff were courteous, though the food portions felt a bit too small.
