The beds were comfortable, but the room wasn’t serviced during our stay. There’s nowhere to keep skis or snowboards, and getting the bags upstairs means carrying them through a busy cafe and up a flight of stairs. There’s no shared space either. Although check-in was listed as available until 11 p.m., the cafe closed at 6 and we weren’t told how to enter after that. The cafe staff didn’t seem to know how to check us in, so we stood in the middle of a busy cafe with three large ski bags for quite a while. The accommodation is in rooms above the cafe.

The location was a real convenience, just a short walk from Asahikawa Station and close to the city and surrounding areas. Even so, the place was remarkably quiet, a nice retreat after sightseeing. The rooms on both floors were spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully furnished, with comfortable beds and amenities that went beyond what I expected. Downstairs, the cafe has a warm, cozy atmosphere with modern decor and comfortable seating. The baristas were friendly and knew their coffee, and there was a good choice of coffee and pastries. This cafe and Airbnb make a lovely combination, and I’d be happy to stay again on my next visit to Asahikawa.

Self check-in was simple, and the staff helped us out when we asked to borrow kitchen utensils for cutting a melon. We had a spacious room that was cleaned daily during our stay, and free parking across the road. The hotel sits above a cafe, so you smell coffee as soon as you walk in.

Free parking is right across the street, and breakfast is served downstairs. The owners and staff were very friendly, and the smell of coffee reached us as soon as we stepped out of our room. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.
