The owners were kind and gentle, and the stay ended up exceeding my high expectations. I lost count of how many times I said, "This place is great!" I was smiling the whole time and would definitely come back. Even in the hot summer, two air conditioners kept the spacious place very comfortable. There was plenty of room, it was clean, and the view was great. We could use the induction kitchen and cookware freely. Some drinks and alcohol in the fridge were complimentary, while instant curry and rice were available for an extra fee if you wanted to stay in. The clean bath, bedroom with mountain views on clear days, one toilet in the bedroom and another in the living room, and drum-style washer all helped us pack light for an overnight stay. Although we were in the mountains, the internet was excellent. Three kinds of charging cables by the pillow were a thoughtful touch. If you're lucky, you might see a rare black woodpecker, Hokkaido squirrels, deer, or wild rabbits. We especially loved watching the adorable squirrels feed, and lost track of time.

We made so many lovely memories here, and I'd like to stay several nights next time and spend more time relaxing. I think the season when the wood-burning stove is in use would be ideal. 😍 We came in mid-October with our son and his wife. Biei was chilly, but the stove indoors kept us wonderfully warm, something city life doesn't offer. Thanks to this stay, the whole family can now light a firewood fire. 🤭 We all helped make breakfast from the ingredients provided, then ate it outside on the deck despite the chill. It felt luxurious to sit in the quiet, clear air with freshly ground coffee and tea made from herbs picked in the garden. In the evening we walked out to the road to see the sky and were amazed by how bright the moon was. In the morning we met some lovely guests. This place really is made for staying. I enjoyed chatting with the owners, and it made me want to see Biei in winter.

The host was kind, and the breakfast they prepared was delicious. Their help made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. It was winter, and the spacious place gave my son room to run around as much as he wanted. The scenery was beautiful at every hour, from early morning and sunset to midnight. Our family made happy memories here, and I think we'll choose it again for our next winter trip. If you're thinking of booking, don't hesitate. It could be the best place you've ever stayed.
