Hotel Elsereine Osaka

The room was larger than most hotels in the same price range, and the bed was good enough for a solid night's rest. We spent most of our time out exploring Osaka. This was our first stay around Osaka Station, and the hotel ended up being our top pick. One thing to know: there's only a bar of soap, no shower gel, so you'll need to buy some at a drugstore in Osaka.

The staff were super nice. We arrived before the 3pm check-in, and they kept our bags while we went out exploring, even though we came back late. The room was good quality and had all the basics, plus there are public facilities like microwaves on certain floors. It's about a 10-minute walk from umeda station, with lots of convenience stores nearby. The buffet cafe on the 2nd floor looked nice and cost around 20-27,00 yen, though my memory isn't great. My room's lights flickered a bit, and the shampoos and conditioners came in packets. There was no body wash, just a few bars of soap. The walls by the door didn't block sound well: kids ran through the halls each night, and I could feel every thump of their steps. Still, it was a good place to stay on holiday.

The hotel was very clean and well organized, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were super nice and welcoming. It's also in a convenient spot, close to the center and osaka station.

The only things I missed were a washing machine and a bigger trash bin in the room. Otherwise, I was very pleased with my stay. The location is handy, near the station, department stores, and even my favorite Starbucks. My room looked just like the photos, and I was happy to find it clean and nice.
