Ryokan Kibun

The building and rooms have an older, historical feel that gives the place a lot of character. I’d booked knowing the toilet and bathroom were shared, so I was pleasantly surprised that the room I was shown had a shower. It was also really convenient for our class reunion after-party at Monroe, just a minute or two on foot. I’ll definitely stay here again next time.

We held our class reunion at this restaurant. The desserts were absolutely amazing, and the food was delicious too. The hospitality was excellent! ❤️

It’s an old-fashioned inn, but everything was clean, and the baths had been renovated recently. I was there for an event at Tsuiki Base and felt very comfortable during my stay. I’d be happy to stay here again.

The neighborhood was quiet, and I had a comfortable stay in a clean bathroom. The bedding on top of the mattress meant my back didn’t hurt. I’d spent the morning exploring Kitakyushu and stopped here overnight on my way to Beppu. I was so pleased with the place that I almost wanted to keep it to myself. The food was warm, looked lovely, and tasted delicious, and the owner was very friendly. There’s a convenience store right next door, and they gave me a towel as a gift that I used comfortably for the rest of my trip. Thank you.
