Hotel Sweets

The building's old, but it's very clean, and the price is great. The staff were incredibly polite, and breakfast was cheap and fantastic!

I still think Sweets is a great, relaxing place that feels different from other hotels, and I want to visit many more times. I'll definitely use it again. But on September 25th, I went there around 9:30 PM hoping to stay and couldn't get in because it was full. I saw several rooms being prepared and called to ask if any might become available. The phone service was poor, and I was told straight away they didn't know which rooms would open up. When I asked what I should do, I felt they were probably busy. I understand that, and I'm sorry I called at a busy time, but the response felt rude even though I was asking about something they didn't know. I was really irritated. Even allowing for how busy they were, I think they should improve some things. Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to using Sweets again.

I've stayed about four times. The rates are low, the service is good, and the staff are polite, but the cleaning is pretty sloppy. There was dust around the light controls, and under the pillow I found something that looked like someone else's dead skin.

The first visit left me very satisfied with the great service and relaxing atmosphere. On my second visit, I was grateful for how politely they handled my call. I'm sure I'll be back a third time!
