We should have stayed more than one night. The house was beautiful, clean, tidy, and well maintained, and the kitchen had all the basics. You can see Mount Fuji from the living room and bedroom, and even while showering. The owner had thoughtfully left slippers for us, and rented bicycles directly for just ¥500 a day. Restaurants and convenience stores such as Lawson and 7-Eleven are nearby. We rode around the lake and enjoyed the scenery, and the Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum is close by and worth a visit. I also caught the sunrise reflecting on Mount Fuji on video, which was breathtaking. The staff member was very helpful and booked a taxi for us when we left. Highly recommended!

We booked at the last minute and had a wonderful stay at the cottage during our visit to Mt Fuji. It was quiet, clean, and a great deal. The sightseeing bus stops close by, so getting to the main places we wanted to see and back was easy. Loved our stay and would definitely come again : )

We had a really pleasant stay in this clean, comfortable cottage, and it worked very well for our family or group trip. The owner was friendly and helpful, replying quickly whenever we needed something. It’s close to public transport, Kawaguchiko Music Forest, convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants. A great spot for a short getaway.

Having a yard to relax in was lovely, and you can also barbecue or rent bicycles that are in perfect condition. The owner is so friendly she feels like a friend, and even drove us to the train station when it was time to leave. The cottage was spotless and felt like home. There are lots of beds and places to sleep, plus towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hairdryer. The bathtub fills itself at the press of a button. The kitchen has all the usual cookware and dishes, including knives, a spatula, pots, pans, bowls, and plates. I loved this cottage!

You can see Fuji from the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The cottage was new, having opened on April 23, 2016, and very clean. The owner was lovely, and the rental bicycles were reasonably priced. Such a wonderful place to stay.
