Hostel Mt. Fuji-FUKUYA

Mochiko Sen made our honeymoon stay a highlight of the trip. She speaks excellent English and was so welcoming, offering travel tips, helpful maps and information, and suggestions for restaurants that are friendly to foreigners. The hostel is tidy, has comfortable beds, and is close to Chureito Pagoda, the train station, and other places. Before we left, she prepared a lovely breakfast and made us good luck charms for our wedding, marriage, and trip. Her kindness moved us to tears. We’d love to come back to Fujiyoshida and stay here again. Highly recommend!!!!

This little hostel felt homely, comfortable, and nice to stay in. The facilities were extremely clean, and the other guests were respectful. The host made a delicious breakfast at 8:30am every morning. We had an early checkout, so she prepared breakfast to take with us and even looked into travel options for our next destination. Highly recommend!

I slept so well here. The bed, pillow, and blanket were incredibly comfortable, honestly better than at a 5 star hotel. The owner was genuine and kind, and suggested places to eat and visit. There’s a Family restaurant a short walk from the hostel that I’d recommend after checking in. Just be aware this isn’t on the lake kawaguchiko sightseeing bus line. You can take a short train ride from kawaguchiko station. I’d highly recommend the hostel.

Hostel Mt. Fuji- FUKUYA was a good choice for our two nights while we explored the area and hoped to see mount fuji. The owner was very kind, made us a good breakfast, and helped us figure out how to get to the places we wanted to visit. Thank you very much, I’d love to come back!
