Hostel Saruya

This was easily our best hostel stay so far, and we hope to visit again soon. Our private room was one of just two, and it was spacious, clean, and looked out toward the surrounding mountains. The hostel sits at the well-known Mount Fuji viewpoint. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

I stayed here over the summer with my Son and was really pleased. Our twin room with a bathroom was stunning, and the biggest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. It was clean, the Air Conditioning was cold, the staff were friendly, and the location was fantastic. Just perfect, whether you’re climbing Mt Fuji or going to Fuji-Q. I can’t recommend it enough.

The decor, atmosphere, and shower products were what I enjoyed most at this gem of a hostel. The location is great too, close to the train station and attractions around Mt Fuji. Breakfast was included at the amazing cafe next door. The cafe latte was great, and we each got 2 free drinks. I’m really glad I found this place and recommend it if you’re hesitating about booking.

The room is huge and bright, with a floor-to-ceiling window looking down onto the street. The beds are super comfortable, with very soft quilt covers, and the amenities are great. The concierge was polite, kind, and helpful, and even carried our luggage into the room. We’ve just arrived and already love it. I’d highly recommend staying here.
