It was clean enough, though there was hardly any sunlight.

I picked this hotel for two sightseeing nights because it was easy to reach from the airport and close to places I wanted to visit. It turned out better than I expected. The standard single room had a comfortable bed, a bedside light, and various charging cords. There were side tables and a movable table too. I didn't mind having no view at all, since I was only there to sleep. The walls were thin enough that I could hear neighbors snoring and making other noises. For me, that was a plus. The shower had good pressure and a temperature-adjustable mixer tap. DeLonghi coffee and soft drinks were available from 7am to midnight. Some reviews called the free breakfast basic, but it suited me as someone who likes eating a range of things while sightseeing. The salad with shredded cabbage and a bit of color helped settle my stomach while I ate local dishes like ramen, motsunabe, and gyoza. The clam miso soup helped my liver cope with all the alcohol. Best of all was the all-you-can-eat mentaiko. I had it with rice the first morning and as mentaiko chazuke the second. Staff kept an eye on me and topped things up at just the right time. It made for a satisfying base for sightseeing.
I was here for two nights on a business trip. The facilities aren't new, but they were clean and comfortable. With prices rising these days, the reasonable rate was a real help. The drink server and manga corner in the lobby were nice, and the hotel is right in the heart of Tenjin.
The rooms are small and not great for getting work done. Still, the free drinks and breakfast miso soup are delicious, and being close to Nakasu-Kawabata Station and the Nakasu-Kawabata shopping street is a definite plus.
I was impressed by the breakfast, especially the mentaiko you can eat as much as you like. It's a Hakata must, and it made me want another bowl of rice. The clam miso soup was tasty and refreshing, and the natto came with a delicious sauce made in Fukuoka. It's a small local touch that I liked. The price was a pleasant surprise, especially for the location. The room was simple but clean and had what I needed, making the hotel seem handy for sightseeing or work trips. I enjoyed the manga section, too. You can take books up to your room at night, which is a nice feature for a business hotel. The first-floor drink bar stays open until midnight with free coffee and soft drinks, so there was no need to buy drinks outside. For the price, I was very satisfied. I'd especially recommend it to people who want a cheap stay and a good breakfast.
