I stayed here for work nearby, and I’d happily come back. Nishitetsu Zashonokuma Station is close, though Tenjin and Hakata are a bit farther away. The rooms and beds are much bigger than at a typical business hotel, and the large bathtub lets you stretch out and relax. Even the unit bath felt clean and spacious. They’ve put a lot of thought into making the stay comfortable, with plenty of amenities and rental items. There’s a big manga selection, free parking, and complimentary drinks and soup in the lobby. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout.

There’s free bread in the first-floor cafe in the morning, along with several kinds of drinks. It’s more of a drink bar with bread than a standard breakfast, and the drinks are available during the day and at night too. The cafe is quieter in the daytime, when it tends to be used by paying students and workers rather than hotel guests. The neighborhood is handy for everyday needs: on the walk from the station you pass a greengrocer, fish shop, deli, and supermarket, plus plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. The local front desk staff were very helpful. Nishitetsu Zashonokuma Station is nearest, and JR Minami-Fukuoka Station is also walkable. The hotel is outside the city center, which could be a downside, though I found it had its advantages. For the room size and price, it would be hard to find the same deal in Hakata or Tenjin. You take off your shoes at the entrance and switch to slippers, and supplies are available on shelves beside the front desk.
