The room was clean, large, and reasonably priced. I wasn't familiar with the remote check-in system, but managed it in the end. Check your email before you arrive and bring coins for the accommodation tax, ¥200/1person,March 2026. They don't have change. The equipment was almost perfect, though there wasn't a glass or mug for a drink.

The place is close to Yaoyuan Station, making it convenient for transport, and it's in a lively area. You can find a supermarket or pharmacy before 10 pm. The space is so large that even with a lot of guests, everyone can open their suitcases. Aside from the high price and no luggage storage, most things were pretty good. I hadn't seen reviews for a long time, so I thought I'd leave one. I was nervous about checking in with elders. Japanese places don't often have rooms this spacious, and I worried about getting a basement or somewhere with poor air circulation. Luckily, everything turned out fine, just like the image. The building has 3 floors and an elevator, which helps with luggage. It's fully equipped, with a working microwave and heating and air conditioning. There are 4 double beds, which helps explain the price of around NT$7,000 per night. It's unmanaged, a bit like Airbnb. The main inconvenience was having no help with garbage disposal. For a multi-night stay, you have to take out your own garbage, which was hard for me because I don't know the garbage rules abroad. One more thing, I don't know if the room password is always updated, so please check with the accommodation.

The apartment is spacious, with four double beds, a kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and a large living room where guests can be comfortable. The kitchen has cups and other basics. There's a washing machine and dryer on the first floor of the accommodation area, which was very convenient. With the affordable price and nearby transport and shops, it was excellent value. The living room did have a slightly damp smell. HOTEL COCON was my first guesthouse stay in Kyushu. It's an unmanned apartment building, but they send instructions before check-in on how to get inside, with visual guides for using the check-in tablet. It's about a 10-minute walk from Yakuin Station exit. The place is in an alley, and in the evening you can smell BBQ from nearby restaurants and hear people talking while they eat. The food smells delicious and can make you want a late-night snack.

We ate in the room since we were traveling with a baby, and having a kitchen along with cookware and dining supplies made that easy. The room was clean and spacious, and we had a very comfortable stay. It's close to major stations like Tenjin and Hakata, which is handy for sightseeing. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Fukuoka. Thank you.
