Nishitetsu Inn Tenjin

The room was on the small side, but I had no other complaints. It was clean, and the staff were helpful and really nice. I stayed three nights for a business trip, and the location was great, very close to Tenjin Station. There was a small TV and mini fridge in the room, laundry rooms on floors 6 and 12, and self-service check-in and check-out machines at reception.

You can use the microwave for free, and the receptionists were very nice. They’ll also lend you an iron at no charge if you ask. Laundry costs 200 yen for 30 minutes in the washer and 100 yen for 30 minutes in the dryer.

The location in Tenjin worked well, near Watanabe Dori, the Tenjin-Omuta Line, and the bus center. Breakfast was included and mostly Japanese style. The front desk staff were especially gracious and helpful. The rooms are the small, efficient kind you’d expect at a typical Japanese business hotel, so don’t expect much space for sofas or chairs.

The location was convenient, just a short walk from everything, and there are self-service laundry rooms on the 4th and 9th floors.
