The photos make the hotel look modern and stylish, but the room was gross, rundown, and dirty. The hallway carpeting was old and stained, the walls were marked up, the curtains had stains, and the windowsill was grimy. Even the elevators were about a third the size of a normal one. The AC wouldn't go below 23 degrees. At check-in I learned they'd clean the room only once during my 5 night stay. I was exhausted and checked in anyway, then regretted it as soon as I saw the room and checked out right away. They still charged me for two nights. The place didn't feel clean, and infrequent room service only confirmed that impression. It may be budget friendly, but only if you're okay sleeping somewhere like this. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money.

The staff were very nice, but the place was just alright at best. The lighting in the photos goes a long way. I didn't really look into other options in Fukuoka, but at the rate we paid, I wouldn't stay here again. I don't think it's worth more than $150 a night.
The room and lobby are pretty, the facility looks modern, and the room is spacious. The location is good too. I wanted to like the place, but the bedding gave me rashes all over my body every morning. My skin is sensitive, and it took almost a week for them to start going away. The room is only cleaned once during your visit, which didn't help. During a medical emergency, staff wouldn't let us use their landline and wouldn't tell us where to find a payphone. Those problems were too big to overlook.
We really enjoyed our 4 days at The OneFive Terrace Fukuoka. It's a stylish, functional place for a city stay, and felt clean, modern, and quiet. The room was comfortable, and the staff were helpful. Check-in and checkout went smoothly. The river is just steps away, with restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores all within walking distance, which made exploring Fukuoka easy and relaxing. It's not a luxury hotel, but I'd definitely recommend it if you want somewhere central, affordable, and comfortable.
We booked an extra night before arriving, making it a two night stay, so my family and I could check in before the usual 3:00 pm time. At the hotel, a foreign staff member didn't listen or check the reservation and kept insisting, with an unfriendly smile, that check-in was at 3:00 pm. We showed our booking details in both English and Japanese, but got no empathy and very poor service. Another staff member eventually stepped in and got us checked in. The welcome still felt unfriendly and fell far below the Japanese hospitality I expected. I lived in Japan for many years and worked with many Japanese people!
