A great little hostel, and breakfast in the morning was tasty!

If you want affordable, quiet time to yourself without being disturbed, this place is a good choice. It's in a peaceful area with a lovely view. Keep in mind, this is a youth hostel, so services and amenities are basic. You make your own bed, and bathrooms and toilets are shared.

Breakfast was good, but the owner was unfriendly when I arrived. He didn't even say hello, and just asked me to pay. There wasn't dinner, so he suggested a restaurant outside. I asked about it, but when he said it would cost 2,000 yen, I declined. He also recommended an outside bath.

I've never stayed in a youth hostel before, and this was my first time since becoming elderly. There are plenty of self-service areas, but I had no problem with that.

A little old.
