The other Super Hotel in Hachinohe is better, though this one is still better value than APA Hotel. Parking costs 600 yen, so include that when working out the total. Check-in and checkout felt standard, and the lobby was clean with lots of amenities. The Wi-Fi was fast at about 52mb/s, and the rooms were fairly clean. I didn’t use the onsen. The TV remote looked pretty gross, and I saw a small fly on the bed, which was strange. The bed was comfortable enough. Pick a pillow at the entrance, because the ones in the room are hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom is functional and feels similar to APA Hotel. The TV is nice and big and can be adjusted to view from different angles. I was happy with the stay, but the other Super Hotel about one block away is better.

Google should let you choose a score between three and four, because I can’t decide which one fits. It’s honestly a pretty average hotel, but the location is good and the staff were friendly.

I stayed here for about 10 days on a business trip. The staff were very friendly, as you’d expect from a major hotel, and the clean rooms and building made for a comfortable stay. Welcome drinks are available until 9 PM, including soft drinks, gin, shochu, and sake. There’s a laundry on the third floor with two washing machines and two dryers, and detergent is free. The large parking lot is unlikely to fill up.

From the layout and entrance, the hotel felt like a chain property. I found the front desk easily and checked in without a hitch. The welcome drink service ran from 3 PM to 9 PM, starting early. They also had local sake and seasonal Beaujolais Nouveau, which struck me as a lovely bit of hospitality and a tempting perk if you enjoy alcohol. There’s a sister hotel nearby, so if it offers the same service, the hot spring option might be worth considering.
