The staff were the best part, really enthusiastic and thoughtful, and went out of their way to talk with us and help however they could. Breakfast was another highlight, with tasty miso, fish, and rice made fresh that morning. The beds were clean, neat, and comfortable. The Onsen is small, but just right for a quick soak. Drinks in the lobby were a nice touch, and in the evening we could help ourselves to Sake and liquor at the bar until 9pm. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the super hotel. If you're passing through Hakodate, it's a friendly, delightful stop for anyone, and queer friendly too.

There are lots of restaurants close by, which made the stay convenient. The hotel is keeping up the Super Hotel standard so far. I’d recommend it.

The breakfast is a simple buffet, but there’s a good choice and it tastes nice. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large bed despite its small size, and the Wi-Fi worked well enough for online meetings. HAKODATE Station is about a 10-minute walk away, with convenience stores, pharmacies, and plenty of seafood restaurants along the way. If you’re coming by rental car, contact the hotel beforehand so you can park in front. The room was clean, and the food was delicious.

The bathroom was extremely cramped and uncomfortable, which is the main drawback. Otherwise, this is an inexpensive, good hotel, with free soft drinks, alcohol, and amenities on the first floor. The refurbished room felt clean and pleasant, with wooden details, though its large, useful desk takes up space and makes the room feel smaller.

The bathroom felt darker and even smaller than at other budget hotels, and checkout at 10 am is early. The room itself is small, as expected. Breakfast is included, which is nice, though it ends at 8:30 am. Parking costs 500 yen, a good deal. This was my first stay with this budget chain.
