Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Hakodate Ekimae Daimon

The rooms and service were great, and guests can control the air conditioning in their own rooms. Hakodate Station is a little far away.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and management adds a few nice extras for a budget hotel, like free breakfast and soup after 10pm. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Hakodate Station and roughly five minutes from a good cluster of restaurants. The location is very accessible if you walk around three minutes. My double room for two was on the small side, but manageable. It’s what I’d expect from a two-star place, with a bit more than the basics. “Really good for the price” sums it up.

The staff were super nice, and my room had everything I needed. Breakfast was very nice, too. Hakodate Station and the morning market are both close by, with lots of good restaurants around. I loved staying at Toyoko Inn Hotel and would come back if I’m in the area again.

This was my first time here, and the hotel felt cute, clean and welcoming, with good service in a calm, cool city. I especially liked how spacious and comfortable it was. I’m an older person who travels to different lands on my own instead of staying home every day. I want to see and learn about the wider world while I still can. I only hope to feel happy and at peace in your land, and I’ll go see the things I want to see. I also want somewhere to sleep that feels safe, like home. Your hotel feels like my home, too.
