The Moo

We had 13 people staying in this incredible chalet toward the end of the season, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Echoland was very quiet, with not much open, but we still found plenty of food options. It’s also close to the shuttle bus for the mountains.

After a day on the mountain, we loved relaxing in the living room and kitchen area or soaking in the bath. The dining area looks out over an amazing mountain view, and my 5yr old had a great time making snowmans just outside the living room below. The lodge feels peaceful and secluded, while still giving easy access to the ski slopes. The Moo in Hakuba is beautifully designed, cozy, stylish, and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. I also liked how well wired and tech equipped it was, with motion sensing lights, a front door camera, and temperature control. Skiers have a place to store their gear when they come in. We can’t wait to return. It’s a lovely mix of adventure and relaxation, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hakuba.

The Moo was one of the most magical places I’ve ever stayed. In March 2024, powdery snow covered the area and made it feel special. Inside, the tasteful, luxurious decor, calm colors, and big transparent windows gave the house a peaceful, healing feel that really touched me. I learned to ski for the first time during the stay. I’ve spent winters in many places, but this one stayed with me. I had an accident at the end of my third day learning, though some time relaxing at The Moo helped the pain fade. It was a pleasure staying with you. Highly recommended. The Moo!♥️

The living room windows were lovely, and sitting there to watch the snowfall felt picture perfect. The decor is exquisite, and the place is well equipped. After a tiring day on the slopes, the kitchen has everything a home cook needs to make something delicious for the family. The rooms are spacious, and there’s an area to dry ski equipment after skiing. I’d absolutely recommend it for families and groups.
