Comfortable, and clean.

The dark-colored hot spring left me feeling warm for a long time, and I’d like to come back. I visited for a day trip, which seemed to be how many locals used the place too. In February 2026, bathing cost 550 yen per person. There’s an indoor bath, a cold bath, an outdoor bath, and a sauna for up to five people. Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner were supplied.

The staff were attentive and helpful, so the stay was pleasant. We were there after the SSTR (Super Straight Tour), and the covered motorcycle parking was a real help in the rain. One of our two rooms had air conditioning that didn’t work at all. They brought a fan, but after showering it was so humid that we kept moving the fans between rooms. I imagine that could be rough in midsummer.

I found this a handy spot if you’re in the neighborhood for business or mainly coming for the hot spring. I stayed one night without meals before a round of golf, to get a little hot spring time in. The water tasted salty, so maybe it’s a salt spring, and it was warming. From the outdoor bath, the view is just solar panels, though at night you can unwind to the sound of insects. The place is a bit dated but well kept. There aren’t restaurants you can walk to. The straight-line distance looks short, but you can’t take the most direct route.
