The renovated room was clean and spacious, and I thought the shower area was roomy enough, much like in a regular business hotel, despite what other reviewers said. Noise carries clearly, though. Parking was difficult to find, and the lot was narrow with steps, which made parking hard even in a 4WD. You can buy Kabuto Beer. It’s unusual, but I thought the current beer actually tasted better.

The outside looks like the Showa era, while the inside has been remodeled and updated. But the Wi-Fi is worse than at any other hotel I’ve used. Even when I’m working on my computer, the connection drops after five minutes.

I stayed in a non-smoking Superior Double before a job interview. The room itself was quite clean, and there’s enough space for one person. I could hear voices from various rooms as soon as I got off the elevator, so sound seems to carry a lot. Couples may need to watch their noise, and staying with a friend could be awkward since there isn’t a desk big enough for two. The parking lot was hard to find, and depending on the space, you might scrape the front of your car, so be careful.

The shower in the room was surprisingly tiny, so I wanted to mention it in case someone would be disappointed if they didn’t know ahead of time. It’s fine if you’re after a cheap place, and the facilities aren’t so bad that I’d say you can’t stay there. You can sleep without any real inconvenience, and it’s perfectly ordinary. My low rating is really about how the front desk staff responded. To me, it didn’t feel like a real conversation, though that’s just my subjective impression. I’m sure they were honest people, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I hope this doesn’t offend anyone.
