The low price is a real help on business trips, and the hotel has the basics covered. I came back about six months after my first stay. It was nice to sleep on a futon over tatami again. The fridge is in the closet, and there seems to be free Wi-Fi. The public bath is open until 11 PM, while showers are available 24 hours.

I booked online the same day, but at first I missed the parking lot because it’s tucked around a bend off the street. There’s a Family Mart close by. My room was just 8 tatami mats, which was enough for me, and there was free Wi-Fi. You can use the bath and the washing and drying facilities, and there are toilets on every floor. Coffee was free too. For 3,500 yen for a room-only stay, I had nothing to complain about.

The Japanese-style room was spacious, which I liked. The only way to bathe is in the shared large bath, and the room has no shower, toilet, or sink. Having to leave the room each time I want to wash my hands is a major downside for me.

It felt much like a business hotel, and the Japanese-style room was comfortable after a long time without staying in one. The ladies’ shower room is shared, but there was a restroom and I found the stay comfortable. The shower room generally stays open late. There’s also a shared bath and coin laundry, so it worked fine for an overnight stop.

We ended up staying here unexpectedly as a family of four, two adults and our two young elementary school kids. The toilets and bathrooms are shared, but the service was good and we were comfortable during our stay.
