The only real downside was the limited parking, though that may be unavoidable in this location. There were two spaces out front and around seven at the back. It’s a fairly typical, slightly old, privately run business hotel. Everything was in order, the toilets had flushing functions, and I had no complaints. It was a pretty nice place to stay.

There are very few business hotels in Himi, especially in the city center, so I’m glad this one is here. Manga and other reading material are available to pass the time, though there aren’t any special amenities. Check-in is after 3:30 pm. The hotel wasn’t very clean, and the bathtub in particular needs care.

The hotel is in a shopping arcade, and the service was courteous. The nearest supermarket was a little far away, but I was able to buy delicious fish. That also made it easy to visit the fish market restaurant the next day.

The landlady was extremely unpleasant. She kept pushing food on me, and when I said no and told her I’d get something from a convenience store, she scoffed. I’m here for work, and even people on holiday can have all sorts of circumstances. She shouldn’t laugh at a customer.
