Hotel Suite Hiroshima Yokogawa

The room felt modern and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. There's a loft with a ladder attached to the bed platform. Getting up and down that way could be hard for anyone with mobility issues.

The facilities were really good.

There are plenty of places to eat between the station and the hotel, plus a convenience store just a short walk away, so finding food was easy. I stayed two nights and felt at home relaxing in the clean room, which had a dining table. The bathroom, plumbing, and rest of the room were all well kept, and I was comfortable throughout. Thanks!

The room's interior was clean, but the apartment building opposite blocked the sun almost all day. I also don't believe the claim that you can see Hiroshima City from the window. For sightseeing, the location is a poor choice. It's in a low-rise residential area north of Yokogawa Station, far from Peace Park despite some reviews calling it close. Hiroshima Station is only one stop away, but Peace Park feels quite far. There were no homeless people around, though the area didn't seem ideal for tourists. For the same price or less, there are places near Peace Park or Miyajimaguchi Station. Lodging around Miyajimaguchi is cheap and has plenty of good food, and there are also many options near Peace Park at no extra cost. Think carefully before booking. I was counting on the induction cooktop to make food, but it didn't work. They should have told me beforehand if it was out of order. The bathtub drain was broken too. Those two repairs may be down to budget constraints. I'd also like a microwave.
