We spent five days here and everything was perfect. Go-San is a gem of a host, and his apartment is spectacular. The photos on the booking site matched the place, which was fully renovated. Highly recommend it.

This was a lovely, satisfying stay in a cozy, high-quality detached house in Hita. It's conveniently placed at the start of Hita's main tourist attractions, and there's plenty of parking behind the building. Downstairs there's a handy kitchen, shower, and a large dining table for four. Upstairs are two rooms, a small tatami room and a bedroom for two, with a living room between them.

The owner was so welcoming and clearly puts a lot into running the guesthouse. There are three distinctive rooms, a clean, convenient bathroom, and a dining area where guests can sit around a table and share meals. This was the best trip I've ever had. I'd recommend arriving after 4 PM to catch the sunset over Maeda-cho, then enjoy the quiet, empty streets at night. The next morning, you can stroll through the shopping streets at 9 AM before the tourists arrive and get a glimpse of everyday Japanese life.

14may2019 Our family stay in the historic Samurai village felt like fate. The house has three bedrooms, one Western-style and two Japanese-style, though the daytime bedroom serves as the living room. There's also a dining room and kitchen. It's right by a beautiful river and jogging path, at the entrance to the Hita-cho scenic area, with its own convenient parking. We could drop off our bags and start exploring straight away. The owner was a friendly young man, and there's a cozy cafe downstairs serving lunch, dinner and late-night snacks. The menu isn't huge, but the food was delicious. ☕😁
