I stayed two nights and really liked the friendly staff and the walkable location, close to both the historic area and the train station. The prices were great, too. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choices and tasty food.

The train line is close enough to hear from a quiet room, but it didn't bother me while talking, watching TV, or listening to music. The hotel itself had no facility or environment problems, and I liked it enough to use again when I'm in Inuyama. Shopping is convenient, with a local supermarket about 3-4 minutes away depending on the route and a FamilyMart inside Inuyama Station. Breakfast starts at 7 AM. The selection has a decent balance of Japanese and Western food, but quantities are limited because the hotel doesn't have many guests. If a lot of people arrive at once, items may run out before they can be replenished, which could be disappointing. On weekday train trips, I found the Meitetsu traffic and long waits at level crossings annoying. This came up especially when heading to the supermarket by shortcut instead of using the free passage at Inuyama Station. For a regional city, there seemed to be a lot of trains. That's not the hotel's fault, but it bothered me.

The USB port and charging cable were handy, and the renovated room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and I ate a hearty meal, lol. Inuyama Castle and Castle Town Street are within walking distance, and guests have a reserved parking lot.

Meiji Village was only a 20-minute drive away, which is why I stayed here. The room was really clean and easy to use, and the large TV was great for watching YouTube and other stuff. I also went to a restaurant within walking distance.
