I came to Isigakijima to go diving, and this hotel worked really well for me. The staff were kind and helped me out a lot. I especially enjoyed the public bath. They even gave me coins for the drink vending machine, and there’s a place to wash diving gear plus lockers outside where it can dry. If you’re planning a dive trip, this could be a good fit.

There's a convenience store across the road, but dinner can take some walking since most restaurants are near the bus terminal and port. The facilities don't match a lot of the photos, and the rooms are pretty small. I was especially disappointed to learn there wasn't a room for washing and drying scuba gear. Watch out for being assigned to the East Bldg, where you just have your room and no other facilities. I found hotels by the terminal and port much more convenient.

The location was great and the room was nice. The front desk team were a big help arranging reservations, and I’d happily come back.

For the price, the hotel is basically fine, though a few things were annoying. The bath plug didn't fit right, and the mattress topper was too small to cover the whole mattress. The bigger issue was the WiFi. In 2022, I expected a connection that worked reliably enough for browsing and YouTube. I wasn't looking for high speeds, just a stable internet connection.

The room had a strong smoke smell, and the hotel felt very dated. It also wasn't cleaned at all during my four-night stay. Breakfast cost extra and was cold. I wouldn't recommend it.
